Your feed is a blur of sameness, and the thumb keeps moving. We shoot, cut and post the frame that breaks the scroll — then we count what it sold.
Every frame below came out of our own studio — lit, shot and graded in-house, no stock, no filters bought off a shelf. This is the house grade we bring to a client's shoot: colour that refuses to sit quietly, and motion built to read at thumb-speed on a 6-inch screen.
Rico took his first paid camera job in 2019: a barbershop off the Farnham Road in Slough, one light, a borrowed 50mm, forty quid and a bacon roll.
A reel we cut for a Reading trainer shop went off. Everyone screenshotted the view count. Then we checked the till: eleven pairs that week, same as the week before. The number was a party trick.
We stopped selling reach. Now a shot either stops the thumb, says the thing, or moves the stock. If it does none of those, it doesn't leave the edit.
Content By Rico Ltd works out of Slough and shoots wherever the product is. Retail floors, kitchens, gym mats, half-built extensions. We bring the lights.
Retainers
Monthly, not hourly. You get a shoot day, an edit queue and someone who answers the phone. Three-month minimum, because month one is us learning your customer and month two is us getting it wrong less.
One shoot day a month. Photo and video, cut for Reels, TikTok, Shorts and the shelf.
We run the grid, the stories, the calendar and the replies. You approve on a Friday.
Meta and TikTok budgets managed to a cost-per-sale you agree up front. Ad spend billed separately by the platform.
Pages that rank for what people actually type, copy that reads like a person, links that survive an update.
Stills for the website, the deck and the listing. Retouched, sized and delivered ready to upload.
All of the above, one team, one invoice, one number to ring. Capped at six studios at a time.
Prices are a guide in pounds sterling (GBP) and are confirmed at consultation. Retainers are quoted monthly, invoiced on the 1st, and delivered across the month to an agreed shoot-and-publish schedule. Three-month minimum, 30 days' notice to end. Ad spend is paid by you direct to the platform and is not included above.
Twenty minutes on a call. We'll tell you why it died and what we'd shoot instead. No deck, no pitch, no invoice.

Content By Rico Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 17273010), registered office 27 Amanda Court, Slough, SL3 7TD, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, email [email protected] or ring +44 7462 218 252. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to.
We do not collect special category data, and we do not ask for payment details on this website.
We do not use a third-party enquiry form service, CRM, or marketing platform. Your message reaches us as an ordinary email and nothing else touches it on the way.
The only party that handles your data on our behalf is the provider that hosts our mailbox. It stores the message so that we can read it, acts only on our instructions, and does nothing else with it. That relationship is governed by a contract meeting Article 28 UK GDPR.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we share it with no one else — no advertisers, no data brokers, no analytics company. We do not deliberately send your data outside the UK; where our email provider stores it on servers elsewhere, that is covered by UK adequacy regulations or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Article 13(1)(e) UK GDPR allows us to describe recipients by category rather than by name. If you would like to know exactly who hosts our email, email [email protected] and we will tell you.
Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep correspondence for 6 years after the end of the engagement to meet HMRC and limitation-period requirements. Your cookie choice expires after 6 months.
This site is served over HTTPS. Access to the enquiry mailbox is limited to Rico and staff who need it, and is protected by two-factor authentication.
This website is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us data, email us and we will delete it.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: be informed; access a copy of your data; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased; restrict our processing; data portability; object to processing based on legitimate interests; and not be subject to automated decision-making. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We reply within one month and do not charge a fee.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, tell us first and we will try to fix it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF — telephone 0303 123 1113, ico.org.uk.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.

Content production and marketing services on a monthly retainer: photography, video production, social media management, paid social and media buying, and search/SEO work, as set out on this website and confirmed in your written scope.
No payment is taken on this website. You enquire via the contact form, by email or by phone. We hold a consultation, then send a written scope and quote. A contract forms only when you accept that quote in writing. We may decline any enquiry.
All prices on this website are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are a guide only, confirmed in your quote. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date we send them. Advertising spend paid to platforms such as Meta or TikTok is billed to you by the platform and is not included in our fees.
Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance, on the 1st of the month, payable within 14 days by bank transfer. We charge no card fees. Late payment may accrue statutory interest and fixed compensation under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Retainer work is delivered across the calendar month against an agreed shoot-and-publish schedule set at the start of each month. Shot material is delivered digitally via a download link, normally within 10 working days of a shoot day. There is no physical product and no shipping.
You provide safe access to locations, the products to be shot, timely approvals, and any consents needed for people or premises appearing in the content. Delay in approvals moves the schedule, not the invoice date.
Retainers run for a three-month minimum term and then continue monthly until either side gives 30 days' written notice. A booked shoot day cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice is chargeable in full.
Consumers: if you are contracting as a consumer rather than a business, you have 14 days from the day the contract is formed to cancel without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you ask us to begin work within that period, you must pay for what we have delivered up to the point you cancel. To cancel, email [email protected].
If we have not started the month's work, we refund that month's fee in full within 14 days. If work has started, we refund the unused balance on a pro-rata basis, less any shoot days already run and any third-party costs already committed. Where a deliverable is faulty or not as described, we will re-do it at our cost; if we cannot put it right, we refund the fee for that deliverable.
You own the final delivered content once the invoice covering it is paid in full. We keep ownership of unused takes, project files and our working methods, and we may show the delivered work in our own portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
Tell us first: email [email protected] with "Complaint" in the subject line. We acknowledge within 2 working days and aim to resolve within 14 days. If we cannot agree, we will both consider mediation before starting court proceedings.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue or anticipated savings. Nothing here affects a consumer's statutory rights.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your engagement is the one in force when your quote was accepted.

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), we must get your consent before setting anything that is not strictly necessary.
One item, stored in your browser's local storage:
cbr_cookie_consent — records whether you pressed Accept or Decline, so we stop asking. Strictly necessary (it exists only to honour your choice). Expires after 6 months. Set by us, not a third party. No Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager, no Meta Pixel, no TikTok pixel, no advertising or tracking cookies of any kind are loaded on this website — whether you accept or decline. Nothing on this page profiles you or follows you to other sites.
If that changes, this policy will be updated first and any analytics will load only after you press Accept. Pressing Decline will always block them.
We load fonts from Google Fonts and animation code from Cloudflare's CDN. These are needed for the page to render and to animate; they do not set cookies, but the request does reveal your IP address to those providers. See Google's privacy policy and Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Clear this site's data in your browser settings and reload the page — the banner will appear again. You can also block or delete storage entirely in your browser; the site will still work.
